Noke Koî
You Will Meet
Pana Nowanawa
Pana Nomanawa is a dedicated guardian of the spiritual and cultural wisdom of the Noke Koi people.
From a young age, Pana absorbed the teachings of his elders, learning the ancestral songs and also the deep meanings they hold. These songs, known as sacred prayers (rezos), are essential for fostering a connection with the spirits of the forest; through his voice, they become a living link between the past and the present.
As the adopted son of one of his people's most powerful and recognized shamans, Pajé Romeya Kamarati, and a member of the Nomanawa clan, Pana was called to assume the role of Txana: a guardian of spirituality and sacred rituals within his community.
Pana Nowanawa brings us the strength of their ancestral heritage and their profound cultural lineage.
